SFI affiliate can change your life

The reason I joined SFI is not only to improve my living standard but being able to make a difference and impact other people’s lives. I believe that the entire network marketing industry is poised for explosive growth and can be one of the most significant solutions to every country’s current retirement savings crisis. 

The increasing numbers of baby boomers are disenchanted with their current careers. They’re worn-out from years of the corporate grind and don’t feel the connection between their job and the people it impacts outside their office walls or company grounds. They have a desire to be a part of something bigger and better… to have a positive effect on others… and working in retirement. This is a perfect situation for me to offer a helping hand through SFI. I would like them to be a part in impacting that change in their lives to see again a positive outlook of life, something to look forward to everyday by making them feel being a part of SFI family wherever they are. This one purpose has made a big change in my life. 

Many people don’t realize that SFI is one of the most successful network marketing companies in the world today. It provides the means to help people satisfy a number of important human needs, including feeling significant, having connections, learning something new, and making a difference. SFI Forum is the place to see all these becoming into reality. I have heard people say again and again, ‘I’m doing this because I’m meeting amazing people … making so many connections … and I feel so good about myself.’” For most people SFI has created a sense of belonging and impacted their lives. 

Besides my current job, I work hard with my SFI business every day. It’s rewarding because I found through my day to day engagement with my SFI business the difference in how I look about life. I feel very much connected to SFI community. I love helping other people starting their own SFI businesses. 

To sum it up: 

I’m a strong believer in having more than one stream of income. That’s why I have been in SFI since 2002. It allows me to stay home, work from home, and help others do the same thing. I do cherish the following invaluable benefits of having my own SFI business: 

- You get to be your own boss – there is nobody there to tell you when or where to work. That was one of the things that attracted me to SFI because I knew I could be in control of my own income.

- You can be a Team Leader – I love to inspire others. SFI allows you the freedom to lead the way, and lock arms with those who wish to pursue financial, time and life freedom also. 

- It’s simple to build – Don’t get me wrong, it’s simple…but not necessarily easy. Thanks to the power of the Internet, you can run your SFI business virtually. You don’t have to “hit the pavement” or have one-on-one meetings to grow. This is still a people business. However, with technology it has become so much easier to connect with people globally! 

- You learn how to develop as an entrepreneur – In SFI, the atmosphere and the attitude of people through SFI Forum (the readiness to help one another) are very much encouraging which lead to building people strong spiritually and mentally. When you begin to learn how to think differently and understand what it takes to be successful, you start to manifest abundance in your life. Naturally, it spills over into your SFI business.

How to use SFI's hit tracking to make your promotions more effective.

My answer is going to be in two parts. Part one will be directed at "Hit Tracking" specifically and part two will be directed at "Campaign Tracking". My experience is that it's very important to understand how "Hit Tracking" fits into an overall campaign tracking system. 

____ Part One - Hit Tracking _

Hit tracking allows you to track the number of "suspects" that land on a particular "landing page" or "gateway page". However, until the "suspect" fills out a form and clicks submit they are NOT a "prospect" or lead. Hit tracking is useful in determining if your advertising and landing/gateway page are working together to produce an acceptable amount of "form fills" or prospects/leads. If you're seeing a high number of hits, but a low number of "form fills" or prospects/leads then something is wrong. Maybe your ad does not match well with landing/gateway page for example. You may also see a similar term called "bounce rate" which means that a "suspect" only looked at one page and then left the website. Use testing to increase your results.

__________________ Part Two - Campaign Tracking __________________ 

You can use paper, a spreadsheet or even a database to perform steps 1 to 5. You do NOT need a complicated system, but as you grow it would make your system a LOT easier to track if you used a computer based tool like a spreadsheet. 

IMPORTANT: All steps require you to track the advertising source of each lead. Use Key Code Tracking! 

1) Track the "per lead" cost from your advertising. Ad cost divided by total number of leads generated. 

2) Track the "per Affiliate" conversion cost from your advertising. Ad cost divided by total number of Affiliates converted from leads. 

3) Track the "per EA2" conversion cost of the Affiliates from your advertising. Ad cost divided by total number of EA2s generated from Affiliates. 

4) Advanced Metric: Track the EA2 "burn rate" from your advertising. This would be how long each lead stays active as an EA2 or above. This metric can be very important when you determine the demographics (countries and income levels) you want to target with your ads. 

5) Determine which leads within your "lead system" overall convert the best to EA2, based on 1 to 4, and then "scale up" what you did to generate and convert those leads. 

Hint: Use A/B split testing through every step of the advertising process! When using A/B split testing put 80% of your budget in your best ads and use the other 20% for testing purposes. A/B split testing = Always Be Testing! Google the term when you get a chance... 

SFI provides the tools you need to get started with your very own "lead system". However, for advanced Affiliates you may want to graduate to building and owning your own list. The basic steps are still the same except you would capture all leads on your own website and then market SFI directly to each prospect in whatever manner you see fit.

Set up a system to organize and track YOUR advertisement.

1. Identifying the sites in which to place the ads: First, free sites or paying sites? This depends on the advertising budget. Many sites offer free advertising. The effective strategy, for placing free ads, is too long to discuss here. Please refer to the training modules. For paid ads, preliminary research is vital. Alexia, a site ranking tool, may be used to select the most frequented sites by opportunity seekers. 

2. Choosing the type of advertising and marketing supports: Banner ads are now very popular, especially because SFI offers dynamic banners. Opportunity seekers can click on them and be taken to the appropriate Gateways. The banner pictures change frequently to offer variety. 

3. Selecting the SFI Gateway/URL: There are over numerous URLs for sponsoring or for sales of the various SFI income streams along the SFI ID, with different messages. 

4: Using the tracking codes: This is a vital part. There are codes specific to SFI Corporate. But there are enough available codes to choose from. The strategy of selecting and placing tracking codes is explained in detail in this training article: https://www.sfimg.com/PowerTools/KeyCodeTracking 

5. Monitoring the results: This is where all parts of the strategy come together. The codes will provide data as to which sites are giving excellent results and which ones are performing poorly. Focus must be on the sites and the ads that are producing good results. The poorly performing ads and sites should be disregarded. The collected data will be used for the next ad campaigns. The wordings of the ads may help improve sign-up quality and avoid sleeping/inactive affiliates.

To build a successful SFI business, how much should I rely on my sponsor?

Relying on your sponsor depends on who you are, what you want and how you want it. On the other hand, it also depends on who your sponsor is, what he can offer in terms of support and assistance and his/her willingness and capacity to offer what he/she can offer. There is nothing too much or too little to rely on your sponsor in as much as you are not relying on him/her to do for you what you can do for yourself or to work your business for you. 

As you can see, your reliance on your sponsor will depend on your experience and your learning curve; lack of experience will increase your reliance on your sponsor and similarly, a slow learning curve will also increase your reliance, otherwise it will be reduced. It is also the case that as you rely on your sponsor to be successful in your SFI business, so also your sponsor relies on you for his/her success. This means reliance is mutual and the benefits there from are also mutual, however, the type and nature of reliance differ with both of you. 

As a newbie, you may want to rely on your sponsor as follows; 

1. To simplify the SFI business model to your understanding and guide you as you navigate through the nitty-gritty of this business; supporting and assisting you to get up to speed with the process. 

2. You may also rely on your sponsor to guide you to various ways you can obtain various information that will enable you make appropriate decisions going forward, including alternative and appropriate places to get support. 

3. You may also rely on your sponsor to lay out the income generating activities that are required for your engagement in order to develop an understanding on how to make money here, which is why you joined. 

As your sponsor may have reciprocated your reliance on him/her in the steps above, the onus may now be on you to determine whether you can apply what you have gained from your reliance on him/her to develop your business and if you still lack some idea on how to proceed, then you may continue to rely on your sponsor on how to:I highly recommend SFI to everyone! 1. Stabilise your business by guiding you on the alternative ways to maintain your EA status on a continuing basis. 

2. You may also rely on your sponsor on the technical details of how and where to advertise for SFI signups, TC members/sales, ECA signups and may be SFIPPA, drawing your attention to the benefits on each of them. 

3. You may need to rely on him/her for encouragement, motivation and recognition of your efforts. This is important in situations where you are overwhelmed, depressed, unhappy and confused, especially when the 'lubricant' of your patience and dedication is running dry. 

At this stage, you may think you have worked hard enough to be seeing success and unfortunately, you are of the opinion that your success is not commensurate with your perceived level of success then you may rely on your sponsor again for the following: 

1. Help you with modern and alternative ways you may need to apply to tweak your business strategy to improve the chances of success in your SFI business. In this regard, you are relying on his/her experience and the power of his/her example (duplication). What is he/she doing currently that is different from before? What are his/her team building and restructuring strategies for a more effective and productive team? What are the new promotion, communication, sales and marketing tools that are working better, he/she is aware of and applying to his/her business? 

2. You may also need advice on cost saving strategies if you feel you are overstretching your budget. You may as a consequence, rely on your sponsor to guide you on cheaper sources of signups e.g. co-opting, website traffic, blogging, Search Engine Optimisation, social network marketing, face-to-face prospecting etc. 

3. You may rely on your sponsor also to help you build relationships and contacts that are pertinent to building a more successful business. You may be lucky to have an experience sponsor who has valuable networks in the online marketing business that will be very useful to you as you strive to build a successful SFI business, but be alert to cross solicitation and if you smell a rat, discontinue. 

To wrap it up, you have to bear in mind that your sponsor is human and may not have all the attributes and capacity to attract your reliance on him/her, so you need to also make serious efforts to help yourself by hard work and developing an appetite to learn by reading and understanding. This is very important in this business and according to Jim Rohn "Formal education will make you a living. Self-education will make you a fortune." You are supposed to make your business a success and not necessarily your sponsor, his/her support is only complementary because you don't wait for someone else to make your life terrific. That's your job.

How do you explain to team members why VersaPoints appear to reset to zero at the start of each month?

When you score VersaPoints for the month, you are paid for that month. These points cannot be carried forward and paid for the next month. Therefore we need to score once again more than 1500 VPs to be an EA.

Drip marketing the best way to utilize it in building your SFI business.

Let’s first get to know what is Drip Marketing _ Drip marketing is a communication strategy that sends, or "drips," a pre-written set of messages to customers or prospects over time. These messages often take the form of email marketing, although other media can also be used. 

Drip marketing is distinct from other database marketing in two ways: (1) the timing of the messages follow a pre-determined course; (2) the messages are dripped in a series applicable to a specific behavior or status of the recipient. It is also typically automated 

Email. The most commonly used form of drip marketing is email marketing, due to the low cost associated with sending multiple messages over time. Email drip marketing is often used in conjunction with a Form (web) in a method called an auto responder. 

Direct mail. Although more costly, direct mail software has been developed that enables drip marketing techniques using standard postal mail. This technology relies on digital printing, where low-volume print runs are cost justifiable, and the variable data can be merged to personalize each drip message. 

Social media. The principles of drip marketing have been applied in many social media marketing tools to schedule a series of updates. 

Drip marketing can be used as a function of the lead generation and qualification process. Specifically, drip marketing constitutes an automated follow-up method that can augment or replace personal lead follow-up. Often called Auto responders, new leads are automatically enrolled into a drip marketing campaign with messaging relevant to the call-to-action from which the lead came. This is also known as lead nurturing.

The best Genealogy filters to use.

In our Genealogy we have the following 10 TABS available for our perusal. These Tabs allow us to view our data in formats that best fit our objectives. The Tabs are: 

1. Basic - It lists SFI ID, name, title, VP totals to date and for current month, sponsor ID, generation, date joined, the affiliate's last login date, CSA assign date, and key code. 

2. VersaPoints - To view Power Rank, Country Rank, and Class Rank for our team. 

3. S-Builder - This tab displays our team member's recent S-Builder participation. 

4. Communication - This Tab includes e-mail addresses for personally sponsored affiliates. 

5. Aff. Mgr. - Affiliate Manager Tab includes selected data extracted for each affiliate, including profile scores (whether affiliates have completed affiliate profiles; the higher the number, the more promising that affiliate to become an active member or TL), active standing orders, confirmed registrations, and white-listed mail@sfimg.com with their e-mail providers. 

6. Sales - This Tab features TC referral total, current Sales VersaPoints (SVP) and previous month's Sales VersaPoints. 

7. Gift Cert. - Use this Tab to award gift certificates to our selected affiliates; in the Give GC column, just click the "Buy Now" link for the individual affiliate.

The best way to start building your SFI team.

Before starting to build a team in SFI, make sure that you have gone through the SFI BASICS and LAUNCHPAD. They’re your very foundation of expanding your network and growing your SFI business. 

How do you start building your SFI team? 

- Equipped with the important principles mentioned above, you’ll need to start learning the marketing methods and how you can effectively use the marketing aids provided by SFI. Follow the sequence starting with the beginner, intermediate and advanced methods. You’ll gain invaluable firsthand knowledge and experience in starting to grow your network. 

- You’ll also need to focus on the Training tab. It’s a great resource in getting started with your SFI business, tutorials and follow-up advice in sponsoring affiliates and so on. 

- While going through your training in sponsoring new affiliates depending on your budget, you might want to consider a share of S-Builder Co-op. 

- If you’re an experienced marketer you can start blogging to generate your leads. To attract your leads, you’ll need to employ content marketing, a marketing technique of creating and distributing valuable, relevant and consistent content to attract and acquire your clearly defined audience. You’ll be crafting content for your website or blog that will engage your readers and turn them into sign ups. 

Other ways to generate leads and start building your SFI team depending on your level of experience, marketing budget and personality type are: 

- Solo Ads - quickest way to build your team is to put your opportunity in front of people you know would be interested. One of the most effective ways of doing this is via email marketing solo ads. 

- Pay Per Click – driving traffic to your site by paying an advertisers fee each time your ad is clicked.

The qualities you need to be successful with SFI?

The main qualities one needs to possess to be successful with SFI are the following: 

1. Desire 
2. Persistence 
3. Knowledge 
4. Communication skills 

I consider the first quality one needs to possess is a burning desire or enthusiasm to start and succeed with SFI. Enthusiasm is the greatest asset that one can possess, because with enthusiasm you can succeed at anything. Enthusiasts are people with passion, vision, determination and inspiration. It's very important that you have the desire to succeed in SFI. With your enthusiasm, you can succeed in spite of overwhelming handicaps. Without it, one is handicapped in spite of overwhelming ability. 

Persistence is one of the basic qualities you need to have to be successful with SFI. Persistence is extremely important in that there many people in the network marketing industry quit right before they were going to reap a financial blessing that would absolutely make a big difference in their life. The main reason people fail is because of a lack of persistence. I always believe that success in our business is simply a matter of doing the right things enough. Many people do the right things but just not enough and that's why they fail. It's like they've dug deep into a mountain looking for gold and abandoned the project few inches from the gold deposit. A leader in SFI must have a good knowledge and understanding of the business and what is in SFI. Knowledge and communication skills are very important for success in SFI. You are sending and receiving messages always. To be able to send and receive the right messages you should be knowledgeable and have correct information. Knowledge is so important because if you really understand what this business is all about you will be able to package it properly. 

Communication skills are equally important because ultimately this business is about your relationship with people. Regular, effective communication is essential for success in all aspects of life, including personal and business relationships. Through good communication one can build trust and understanding in a relationship. One can realize a greater degree of success in business if one regularly communicates with his or her team members. Good relationships always start with communications and finally success will follow.

Most effective strategies one should use when just starting up with SFI

When you’re just getting started with SFI, there are real steps to ensure your SFI business a successful start. 

Here is an effective strategy that will help you establish a solid foundation for growing your SFI business: 

- Learn what makes SFI a real business. 

Go to SFI BASICS. In this section, you’ll find four ways to earn your income. I always emphasized especially to my new affiliates not to leave this page and move on to the next until they completely and clearly understood all of the concepts discussed here. This is an important step for them to understand as they move on, implementing a systematic start in their journey with SFI. 

- Learn the details of what makes SFI a real business. 

In order not to complicate the matter and overwhelm especially new affiliates, I’ll let them know right away on their first day in going through the LAUNCHPAD to take one lesson at a time. The LAUNCHPAD contains important information that needs to be digested. There is no point reading them all in just one day in order to score all the VPs. They’ll be missing key points, which if implemented strategically, will lead them to success. 

- Become a Fast-Track member. 

You are serious in making SFI works for you. Since you’re in the process of starting up, you need to think of your long term success. The Fast-Track membership gives you the advantage to initiate the momentum and growth of your SFI business.

A good start up strategy in becoming a Fast-Track member is by doing the following: 

1.Complete the five Getting Started actions, which are indicated with JET icons. 

2. Purchase the New Member Pack (NMP) which costs $20. 

- Performing your free point able Actions. 

In going through your free point able actions, you should consider a strategic approach. Most new affiliates collect all their free action VPs in their first month just to achieve EA, making it difficult for the following month to maintain their EA status. 

You should focus only first on collecting your Getting Started actions VP in your first month to get you established and then perform your daily To-Do List. This will ensure your 1500 EA qualifying VPs together with being a Fast-Track member. 

In your second month, you won’t be struggling to maintain your EA status, because you’re a Fast-Track member and have enough free point able actions to collect. 

- Learn to market your SFI business 

As you maintain your EA status, you should be going through your marketing and training tabs to learn and to acquire the necessary skills of sponsoring and start building your network. You’ll be earning valuable action VPs to help you through in maintaining your EA status. You’ll need to continually educate yourself and widen your knowledge base in these two sections to ensure that you’re taking full advantage of all the tools and resources provided by SFI. 

- Participate in SFI Forum and Ask SC 

Learn more and continue building upon what you have started by actively participating in SFI Forum and Ask SC. They are great resources in growing your SFI business.

The best ways to ensure you are building your RESIDUAL income potential.

Residual income is a long term income flow as a result of your activities in your SFI/TC business, so you need to put in a lot of efforts to build a sustainable business, by maximising your capability across various income streams available here at SFI. Among them are: 

1. Adopt the ultra 3 step plan: 
- Become an Executive Affiliate (EA) and remain an EA every month. 
- Recruit five affiliates using the recommended SFI marketing methods. 
- Teach your five affiliates to do these same three steps.

This gives you guidance and assistance on how to move from the lowest residual income level to the highest residual income level. This PLAN does not suggest that your residual income is capped at the highest rank (DTL) level; it only demonstrates that you cannot go beyond that point in rank only. 

3. Leveraged income means the income you will earn through other people's efforts, so it is important to build an active team in order to maximize your residual income for the long term. Building an active and profitable team requires your continued and sustained guidance, support and you need to encourage duplication across board in order to increase the depth with which you generate income. 4. You need to diversify your portfolio of residual income by not only relying on active downline, but by also recruiting TC members (PRMs) and ECAs. Though you will earn residual income from the purchases of your PRMs, but this is much enhanced if you are able to recruit serious business minded ECAs are willing to entrench their businesses in TC, are enthusiastic and capable of operating successfully for the 'long haul', then you are in the earn long term royalties as well. 

Let me conclude by adding that, developing a residual income potential requires a consistent, determined and persistent effort on your part and how well you succeed in it, depends on how well your efforts pay off. You therefore need to be able to walk the rough walk, ride the bumpy road and swim the tempestuous ocean.
